Question #1: What is the difference between Pole Dance and Pole Heels if heels are optional?
The primary difference lies in the style, focus, and movement dynamics:
Pole Dance: This style focuses on a mix of athletic and artistic elements, emphasizing strength, flexibility, and technique. It includes spins, tricks, and transitions that highlight the physical and technical aspects of pole fitness. While barefoot practice is common, heels can be worn if desired, but they are not the focus of this style.
Pole Heels: This style incorporates sensual movement and flow, with choreography designed to highlight the aesthetic and expressive aspects of pole dancing. Although heels are optional, they are often worn to enhance the overall visual impact and fluidity of movements. Pole Heels classes also tend to include floor work, body waves, and slinky transitions that complement the use of heels.
Both styles are excellent ways to explore pole dance, with Pole Dance leaning toward strength and tricks, while Pole Heels adds a touch of flair and sensuality.
Also both styles can be learned simultaneously, allowing students to develop a well-rounded skill set that blends strength, technique, and expressive movement.
Question #2: What is a typical class like?
All classes share a common structure, consisting of a warm up, conditioning exercises on and off the pole, learning pole dance and some other additional activities (e.g. Circuits, "Carousel", learning small sequences and choreographies etc.), we then finish with stretching and a cooldown.
Question #3: How much do group classes cost?
There are a few options available to purchase a class/course pass online.
If you are new to our studio, you are most welcome to join a Taster Class when it is available with a discounted price. We announce them in advance on the website and social media accounts.
We also have a loyalty program in place WI Stars where for each euro spent for classes when paying online a WI star is automatically added to your account. At your convenience, for example, you may claim a 10% discount code for any future purchase in exchange for 100 WI Stars.

There are no restrictions how early you should book a class or a course, although earlier booking (7-14 days in advance) would ensure your spot to avoid disappointment.

Question #8: What should I wear and what should I bring with me?
A tank top and a pair of shorts would be the best option for training as we need a lot of elements require bare skin contact with the surface of a pole.
Also it is advisable to bring a bottle of water and small sweat towel, otherwise, you are welcome to use filtered water and tissues provided. It is also advisable not to use any hand creams or body lotions (particularly oil based) on the day to prevent slipping.
IMPORTANT: Jewelry is not allowed to be worn due to health safety reasons, particularly on fingers, toes, ankles and wrists.
Question #9: Are there any age and gender restrictions to join a class or a course?
Our classes are open to participants aged 18 and older, regardless of gender, provided there are no medical conditions preventing participation in this type of activity.
For students aged 16–17, it may be possible to join with parental or guardian permission. Please have your parent or guardian contact us directly, as these cases are reviewed individually.
Question #10: Do you have drop in classes or courses only?
After more than a decade of offering successful drop-in classes, we’ve decided to switch to short 3-week courses starting in February 2025.
Yet we are adding some single Taster classes at a discounted price giving an opportunity to try it out and see if this is something you would like to continue.
Why the change?
Well, this shift comes with a few key benefits:
Better Progress: Short courses foster greater progress than drop-ins. The structured format allows for a more consistent syllabus, improved attendance and motivation, and provides adequate time for the body to adapt to new movement patterns.
Focused Level Differentiation: Courses enable us to better tailor content to different skill levels, allowing students to focus on specific elements and achieve their goals more efficiently.
Clarity in Scheduling and Content: This format provides both students and instructors with a clear understanding of the upcoming timetable and class content.
Smooth Step-by-Step Progression: With fewer gaps due to attendance issues or missed topics, courses allow for a more cohesive learning experience
Also we are moving to hybrid training structure (in-person + online) where courses are fitting the future vision of the studio allowing to have bonuses from both in person and online training
Please note that booking is necessary to avoid disappointment.
Question #11: How long is one session? And how many sessions in one course?
Our sessions are 60 min long.
Regular course includes 3 sessions (one session per week). Also course duration is specified for each service in the description.
Note: It is recommended to be arrive 10 minutes before the class starts.
Question #12: Which course/class should I join? How do I know which group would be suitable for me?
Even though there is a lot of room for variability in defining levels, these guidelines may help to find the most suitable group for yourself:
Beginner | Level 1 >> If you have never done Pole Fitness or Pole Dance before or you have already had a few classes. Suitable for individuals new to pole dance or with minimal experience. Focuses on foundational moves, basic spins, grips, and building strength. Emphasizes correct technique, safety, and body conditioning to prepare for more advanced movements.
Pre-Intermediate / Progressig Beginner | Level 2 >> Designed for students familiar with basic techniques, including inverts, spins, and climbs. Focuses on refining these skills, introducing more complex spins, and beginning inverted positions. Incorporates conditioning to build the necessary strength for intermediate tricks.
Intermediate | Level 3 >> For those comfortable with inversions and basic aerial tricks. Introduces more challenging moves like leg hangs, advanced spins, and combinations. Emphasizes developing fluid transitions and building endurance.
Advanced | Level 4 & Above >> Tailored for experienced pole dancers proficient in a wide range of techniques. Focuses on complex aerial tricks, intricate combinations, and dynamic movements. Encourages personal style development, choreography, and preparation for performances or competitions.
It's important to note that these levels can vary between studios, and some may have additional sub-levels or specific criteria for progression.
For exotic pole dance, which emphasizes sensual movement and dance elements, the progression levels often mirror those of traditional pole dance. However, they place a greater emphasis on dance flow, floor work, and choreography at each stage.
When determining your level, it's advisable to consult with instructors and consider individual capabilities, as progression can be subjective and varies from person to person.
